The 2024 school year is about to start soon and everyone is going to be out shopping for their back to school essentials! In today’s post I have the ultimate back to school essentials list for my pink girls! We have the most adorable tote bags, backpacks, notebooks, stationary and more!
Almost everything in this back to school essentials list follows the theme of pink (because everything looks better in pink)! I *may* have also been inspired by the Barbie movie coming out later this week. I’ll be updating this list as I find more cute things so be sure to check back throughout your school year!
Backpacks and Bags
Here we have the cutest backpacks for your back to school essentials 2023! I have a couple of bags and even purses listed here so there is something for everyone!
1. Fjallraven Classic Backpack
Having a reliable backpack is CRUCIAL in school, you need something that won’t break on you halfway through the school year. The tried and true Fjallraven Classic Backpack in Pink is the perfect backpack to carry your notebooks and laptop. It’s a true bubblegum pink, waterproof, and made of sturdy canvas material!

If you are looking for something a little more on budget this one is a little more lightweight and is still a pretty shade of baby pink and is only $21!
This one is sitting at $28 dollars and has 4.6 stars on Amazon! This backpack also has a USB charging port that you can connect to a power bank, a laptop compartment, plenty of pockets, and a pvc waterproof pocket!
If you are more of a tote girly I would recommend this beautiful giant pink tote bag. It has 4.5 stars on amazon with more than 6,000 reviews! It comes with a built in charging cable and external usb port so you can charge your phone from your purse! You will need to have it connected to a power bank (You can check out this inexpensive one). There is also a smaller bag that comes with it that you can use for any makeup or personal items!
Other Pink Bags I Love:
I LOVE the puffer tote bags that have been everywhere recently, however, they might not be the most practical if you need to carry many items around. If you don’t have much you need to carry or want to use it as a purse check this one out! It’s an aesthetic cream color that will match well with any pink items you throw in it!
For a budget friendly option this tote bag is only $15 and super spacious! It has a zipper on the top and a front pocket, made out of sturdy canvas material.
Pink Aesthetic Notebooks
This is my absolute favorite category! As an avid collector of journals and notebooks I am always looking for the next cutest journal to add to my collection! These are the best and most aesthetic ones I found for your back to school essentials 2024!
3. Pretty Composition Notebooks
This heart pattern pink composition notebook is so cute and aesthetic to fit in with your pink girl theme! It’s wide ruled just like any other classic composition book! This one has great reviews on Amazon.

This graph paper composition notebook shown above, it’s quad ruled and has 100 pages. I usually opted for graph paper notebooks even if the class didn’t require it. The grid helped me keep all my notes organized and in one place!
I absolutely ADORE these Pastel Colored Spiral Notebooks! They come in a pack of 6 and have the most gorgeous pink color in them! These are the exact ones I currently use and I can’t get enough of them! The ones linked here are college ruled but they also have wide ruled if it’s required by your class!
Other Aesthetic Pink Notebook Recommendations:
If you prefer not having to carry around 6 different notebooks in your bag for the day, this 5-subject baby pink notebook is by the same brand! It also comes with 5 poly pockets to hold any loose leaf paper or assignments for that specific subject!
The four notebooks shown above are SO aesthetically pleasing I would be so happy taking notes in these everyday. Keep in mind they are an A5 size so smaller than your average wide or college ruled notebook! However, if you take most of your notes online or have smaller handwriting they might just be the ones for you. Plus they’re pink and green themed. Totally adorable.
5. Mini Notepads for On The Go
A 4 pack of these mini notebooks, because you never know when you’re going to need to jot something down or doodle away boredom in class. They’re just super handy to have and are great for any random notes or reminders you have throughout the day!
5. Aesthetic (and pink themed) Planners/Agendas
Planners are a MUST to help keep you sane and your schedule on track. I could not resist listing these super adorable planners by Notcoy! These come in so many cute designs, some fully pink and others with touches of pink in them. There’s a design for everyone so be sure to check them out!

I also found another option for a simple undated planner that is less than $10! This one is super affordable and to the point. I always recommend having at least one planner you actually use. It helps keep deadlines for both school and life all in once place so you’re never missing out or running behind on events!
Stationary Essentials
My second favorite category is stationary! I have the cutest back to school essentials 2023 for stationary listed down below. We have pens, pencils, calculators, the works! I have pretty much all the basics needed by most middle school, high school, and college classes but I’ll update this post as I find more!
This beautiful pink writing set has pretty much all the basics you need for taking notes and completing school work. It includes mechanical pencils, pens, and erasers! The reviews on Amazon are amazing at 4.8 stars with over 4,000 reviews!
You’re going to need a good set of pens to get you through the school year and these Paper Mate InkJoy Pens are my ABSOLUTE fav! This one is a variety pack with all the colors and it, of course, includes a pink pen. These write like butter and don’t take forever to dry. If you were to buy only one thing from this list it should be these!
8. Motivational Pencils all Shades of Pink
If you’re more of a traditional person and like wooden pencils I found these that are stunning! They’re motivational pencils and come in different shades of pink! They come in a pack of 30 and will definitely help you get through the school day.
The super bright neon highlighters are just NOT for me! I love having softer colors to take aesthetic notes and these ones are top notch. They’re marketed as bible study highlighters and, from the reviews, they don’t even bleed through super thin bible pages! Super quick drying and pretty colors. What more can you ask for?
You’re going to need something to hold all of your new aesthetic stationary in so a big pink pencil pouch is a definite need! This one is only $6.99 and has a wide opening so you can see everything you need with no fuss!

This one has a little more storage with multiple compartments and zippers! It’s a little more pricy at $11.99 but totally worth it if you have more essentials to carry!
A pink desk set with everything you need to keep all your school papers organized. It includes a tape dispenser, scissors, stapler, and more! I love having this on hand (even if most of it stays home) because it comes in handy with keeping documents looking tidy and professional!
12. Baby Pink Casio Scientific Calculator
The Casio Scientific Calculator in the shade pink. I remember needing one of these for school and I was stuck with the musty dusty gray color. This one is super cute and the reviews are great at 4.6 stars and over 10 thousand reviews!
Back to School Lunch Essentials
Onto lunch back to school essentials for 2023! I would take lunch with me for the most part and always had a ton of snacks packed to last me the long school day. This list has a few cute lunch bags, boxes, and water bottles!
An adorable strawberry cow print lunch bag! This one is insulated and waterproof and has a front pocket you can even stick some snacks in for easy access! I absolutely adore it and ordered one for myself for picnic dates!
14. Sturdy Pink Lunch Bento Box
This pink bento box is reusable, durable, and convenient when it comes to packing lunch! It includes a fork and spoon with their own compartment! I love having something that’s strong enough to withstand me tossing it into my bag day after day. It also allows you to pack a variety of foods like salad, fruit, and pasta all in once place!
15. Large Pink Insulated Water Bottle!
A pink water bottle is an absolute MUST! You’re gonna get thirsty from walking around campus and this insulated water bottle with a straw, comes in both a 22oz and a 32oz size! It will keep you hydrated and keep your beverage cool all day!

Of course I have to include the 40oz pink Stanley cup that has been viral for the past year or so now. The only issue is that it doesn’t have a fully closed lid so you’ll want to be careful you don’t accidentally tip it over!
I do have a dupe for the Stanley cup if you’re looking for something a little more on budget! It’s 40oz as well and still has the same Stanley look! I’m all for looking cute on a budget 😉
